The subtly redesigned 2013 Audi S5 is out to prove it's worth all the buzz it's been generating.
The most obvious changes to the new 2013 Audi S5 are on the outside. A reshaped grille and new headlights with updated internals are sure to make it stand out on the roadway.The inside has also been updated. The MMI infotainment system is upgraded to have more features but less confusing buttons. The steering wheel, column stalks, wood or aluminum trim, and chrome dècor are all new as well.Its outstanding performance is produced by a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 pumping out 333-horsepower. Torque is measured to be 325 lb-ft. This engine, identical to what is found in the Audi S5 Cabriolet, change improves gas mileage considerably. A six-speed manual transmission is standard.Audi has switched the steering gear for the new model year to a more efficient electromechanical system. The improvement alone increases full economy by a full mile per gallon. Due to this electronic steering, the 2013 Audi S5 can offer optional lane keeping assist that actively nudges the car back if the driver drifts over a lane marker with a turn signal.It is available in the Premium Plus trim, which features 19 forged aluminum alloy wheels and a dual-exhaust with quad tailpipes, and Prestige trim with Audi adaptive xenon headlights and Audi MMI Navigation plus. The sound system is boosted to a Bang & Olufsen Sound System when upgrading to the Prestige.Audi takes measure to provide only slight improvements on an already great vehicle.
