2012 Audi R8

The 2012 Audi R8 has gotten good at combining all the flash and raw sensation of driving a racecar with the comfort drivers have come to expect. The R8 coupe and convertible are available with a 4.2-liter V-8 engine rated at 420 hp or a 5.2-liter V-10 that puts out 525. The V-10 is tuned to put out 560 hp in the R8 GT. The GT is a limited model with a 333-unit production run and just 90 coming to America.

By all accounts, the 2012 Audi R8's exterior is second to none. It was one of the first models to feature Audi's signature LED daytime running lights, while a unique and contrasting diagonal blade behind the door added a distinctive touch to the overall design. The R8 Spyder provides open-air driving with a retractable soft top.

All R8 variants come standard with a number of luxury and tech features including power adjustable seats, Bluetooth®, automatic climate control, and heated seats. Navigation is standard on the 5.2 and GT models and optional on the 4.2. The interior in the GT is prepared for racing and includes a rollcage, four-point seatbelts, a fire extinguisher, and loads of carbon fiber trim.
